We started Bench because we couldn't find software that understood how repair shops actually work. So we built it ourselves.
Our Story
Every repair shop we visited had the same problem: a mess of disconnected tools. Spreadsheets for tracking. QuickBooks for invoicing. Sticky notes for customer info. A phone that never stopped ringing with "is it ready yet?" calls.
The "solutions" on the market were either generic point-of-sale systems with repair features awkwardly bolted on, or enterprise software priced for chains with hundreds of locations.
Independent shops deserved better. They needed software that understood their workflow — intake to repair to payment — without the complexity or cost of enterprise tools.
So we built Bench. A single platform that handles everything a repair shop needs, designed from day one for the independent operator.
